Lori Petty famous for her roles in Point Break and A League of Their Own was arrested for DUI before being released on $100,000 bail. Lori Petty was arrested Saturday night in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to official sources, Petty was arrested and charged with a felony DUI. It is worth mentioning in this regard that DUI becomes a felony charge when there is some sort of injury involved.
If media reports are to be believed, Lori Petty hit a 14-year-old skateboarder in California. The skateboarder was released after being treated for injuries. Law enforcement officers are still looking for circumstances responsible for the accident but indications are that a follow-up investigation will be required. The blood alcohol content level of Petty is still not been released by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Petty has recently appeared in Fox’s House and the now closed Prison Break, she is best known in Hollywood for her acting in Point Break also starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. Petty has also worked with the likes of Madonna and Tom Hanks in A League of Their Own.
